Officially Appointed at COP

It is finally official! We completed the Candidate Orientation Program (COP) training at Avant on July 18th. It was a fabulous two weeks. The days were filled with lots of excellent information and the evenings were spent fellowshipping with some fabulous folks attending COP along with us. When we drove away, Todd said, "No! I want to go back to The-Vant!" (His way of saying Avant.) There's no doubt that Avant has become home to our family. Here are some photo highlights of the two weeks:

Here's Todd loving the "box!"

He wouldn't get out! Luke & Dante were willing participants in the game. Thanks, guys!

Ryan had a blast playing soccer with Andrew:

And, here's Lena at her sleepover with Carla:

I think my favorite time of COP was the worship time we shared before each day of class. There was amazing musical talent among this group of people. We shared 4-part harmony and a wide variety of instruments! It was a little piece of heaven.

Now our training is done. We are praying for the sale of our house and we're busy with support raising. Mark will switch to part-time at Travelers beginning August 4th. We are so thankful for the extra time to devote to the work of support raising. We are trusting God to reveal his timing for our move to Paris, France.
