Rememberances of Summer

Perhaps you are like us and thinking, "where did summer go?" We've had a wonderful time visiting with people and, well, just plain having fun! Here are a few highlights in pictures:

Lena, Ryan and Todd on the rock, just outside our cabin at Family Camp (Camp Forest Springs in Westboro, WI):

There's nothing greater than the mini-farm at camp! Lena and Ryan even milked the goat this year! Let's see, the kids held chickens, kittens, puppies, and rabbits. They got to pet a cow, a sheep, a duck, a peacock, pigs, goats and they rode the burros at least once each. Great fun for all!

Todd celebrated his 3rd Birthday at camp. He got to talk to Hairy, the puppet. Hairy is singing Happy Birthday to Todd in this picture.

We celebrated Todd's 3rd Birthday with the Pederson family just before camp. Here's Todd with his Firetruck cake...

The State Fair. Just a few hours on a discount day, but lots and lots of yummy food!

As for support-raising work, we have been busy meeting with people and we've been in contact with a number of churches. Perhaps because of our weeks of training and time away as a family, or perhaps because it is a busy time for many people, our support has not changed that much. We have reached 37% of the monthly support that we need.

Mark is now working part-time at Travelers, which will help us devote more time to the support-raising work. We are trusting God to provide the support we need - in HIS perfect timing.
