Praying for the French Consulate

As of yesterday Noon, the French Consulate has everything they need from us to process our visas. Please pray with us that our visas would arrive very soon! We are trusting God to provide this last piece so that we can board the plane on August 2nd as planned.

Meanwhile, we continue our preparations to leave. As I sit here, we have 2 more piles to go through before we are done scouring the house to remove things that will not go to France with us. Then, we begin packing our 10 suitcases and 5 carry-on for our flight on August 2nd. We'll spend a week in Iowa with Jill's family and then return to have the house packed up on July 28th. Our last days in the USA will be with Mark's family in Edina, MN. It's hard to believe we will be in France in just over 2 weeks! God is good. So, very good.

"Lift up your eyes on high and see who has created the stars,
the One who leads forth their host by number,
He calls them all by name;
because of the greatness of His might
and the strength of His power
not one of them is missing.

The Everlasting God, the Lord,
the Creator of the ends of the earth does not become weary of tired.
His understanding is inscrutable.
He gives strength to the weary,
and to him who lacks might He increases power.
Though youths grow weary and tired,
and vigorous young men stumble badly,
yet those who wait for the Lord will gain NEW strength;
they will mount up with wings like eagles,
they will run and not get tired,
they will walk and not become weary."
Isaiah 40:26, 28-31
